On this page, I will show some more or less popular domino techniques for you to rebuild in your own domino project. I would once again like to mention that this is only a selection. Domino builders do always invent new techniques in order to make their projects nicer and more complicated. The techniques are sorted in four categories:
- Techniques without additional materials - techniques that do not need any other objects than dominoes
- Techniques with little additional materials - for these techniques, you need some assisting tools which mostly can be found at home
- Techniques with many additional materials - complicated constructs, but they surely will be responsible for a lot of astonishment
- Equipment of a domino builder - elements that appear in every larger domino project, should be seen as a standard
Furthermore, I will rate every technique (apart from the equipment) according to its difficulty. The spectrum goes from one star (very easy) up to five stars (really challenging). A click on a technique opens another window with details. On this page, you are only able to see the German names of the techniques because it somehow destroys the whole picture scaling when I change it. Feel free to click on a technique to find out its English name, sorry for that.
